Currently P. Park NJ is accepting NJ residential clean soils, NJ residential non-recyclable soil, NJ residential unsuitable soil, rock, concrete, brick, block, and asphalt. Click here to see our classifications for our NJ residential soils. Concrete, brick, and block, cannot contain any soil in the loads. Asphalt needs to be completely separate from all other materials to be disposed of at P. Park NJ.
Any regulated waste streams, non-recyclable construction debris, wood, paper, rubber, municipal waste, highly organic material, soil with nuisance odors, and soil with excess moisture are not accepted.
The requirements for dumping/disposing/recycling dirt are the following: full analytical laboratory data analysis, P. Park NJ’s third-party engineer approval letter, and a manifest accompanied with each load.
Typically, 3 to 5 business days after a technically complete application is received; see below for some common items that can delay your application.
The sampling protocols for P. Park NJ are included in the material acceptance form in (5. Forms and reference). Samples typically older than one year will require updated samples unless we can receive an official correspondence indicating that the site conditions have not changed since the sample was collected.
NY and NJ have different analytical parameters to establish that the material is not contaminated. Most NY facilities analyze the sample for the NYSDEC Part 375 lists. This list of analytical parameters does not include all of the parameters that are included on the NJDEP RDCSRS. To save time, ask your lab to provide all parameters on the NJDEP RDCSRS list.
P. Park NJ does accept rock up to 36”. However, the rock cannot be combined with soil if the soil has not been tested before disposing at our site.
P. Park NJ does accept asphalt. However, it cannot be combined with any other materials. Asphalt has to be completely separate from any other sources when disposing at our site.
P. Park NJ does accept brick, block, and concrete. We take each material separate or comingled. If all materials are comingled, we would consider this a “mixed load” and would charge accordingly. We also accept each of these materials separately. However, brick, block, and concrete loads, cannot be combined with soil. If combined with soil, we will have to reject the loads.
All truck drivers and visitors to P. Park NJs facility are required to wear a hard hat, high-visibility vest, safety glasses, steel toe boots and gloves.
