3/4″ recycled stone is one of the industry’s most popular product. This sized stone is typically used for drainage, driveways, bedding for large pipes, filter stone, dry wells, and concrete slab bedding, drainage backfill, concrete, footings and foundations.
1 ½” Recycled Stone is similar to ¾” Recycled Stone in regards to uses. 1 ½” Stone is commonly used in dry wells, drainage, road base, septic systems. It can also be used to make Portland cement, filer stone, and riprap stone.
Crushed stone screenings are the finer fraction of recycled stone products. Two advantages of recycled stone screenings are their uniform grading and crushed faces. Crushed recycled stone is mostly used as a base for stone pavers during various small, home projects. It is sturdy enough to withstand the pressure of stone pavers, has incredible drainage properties, and can also be smoothed and dry packed.
DGA is bound together with smaller stone particles and stone dust, resulting in maximum weight and a high level of compaction. DGA’s uses include road base, driveways, parking lots, brick paver installations, and fill material.
